Do you love wine and wish you knew more? One of the great things about wine is there is always more to know! Come spend your winter with us as we follow along with wine writer Zachary Sussman's book The Essential Wine Book: A Modern Guide to the Changing World of Wine. We will gather, we will taste and we will discover the joy the world of wine has to offer us. Guided by Sommelier Kim Prokoshyn, taste great wines and start practicing today!

January: How to Taste

Delve into the theory of how wine is made, how it translates into taste and how to talk about it. We will demystify thrown around terms like "Balance", "Terroir" and "Natural Wines."

February: The Old World

Continuing into Part I of The Essential Wine Book: A Modern Guide to the Changing World of Wine, we review the major regions and styles of each country through taste. We will taste a lineup of wines that exemplify the terroir and style of each place.

March: The New World

Continuing into Part II of The Essential Wine Book: A Modern Guide to the Changing World of Wine, we review the major regions and styles of each country through taste. We will taste a lineup of wines that exemplify the terroir and style of each place.
